Susan began singing as a toddler, singing loudly enough for the neighbors to hear as she played in the yard. Her parents gave her piano lessons beginning at age five when she began playing by ear. She is grateful for many mentors, including the church organist at her childhood church, her uncle, a trumpter, and many fine teachers. Susan has a music ed degree in classical voice, but it doesn't stop her from grand and lavish experimentation in many genres! She has solo-ed with the Wichita Choral Society, as well as with the Lane Justus Chorale. She loves church music and feels led to minister through prayer and teaching children. From harpsicord to bagpipe to drum kit, she has played many instruments and enjoyed them all!
